Proposal Question: How can I adapt illuminated choral manuscripts to contemporary music?

This art book was created as a way for me to combine my interests in design, music, and history into one meaningful work. The songs for this book are also personal, being selected from my own voice recital at American University.

The final book (included below) includes research on illuminated manuscripts along with original works that adapt these styles for contemporary music, together forming a collectable coffee table book.
